Leah
Mackin is a Philadelphia-based artist and artisan. Her fine art
ranges from installations and sculpture to drawings and prints to one
of a kind and editioned artist's books. Her handcrafted books and
book products have been sold in retail stores and craft fairs. She has completed over 250 internship hours in various conservation labs in Philadelphia learning and practicing book & paper conservation. Right now, she is probably eating gummy candy and, thankfully, not talking in the third person. • COLLECTIONS • Free Library of Philadelphia, Artist's Book Collection University of Pennsylvania, Rare Book & Manuscript Library • EXHIBITIONS • 2007 Senior Thesis Exhibition Havana Lofts, Philadelphia, PA 2006 Serious Art, It’s Called Works in Progress For a Reason The Galleries at Hamilton Hall, Philadephia, PA Junior Printmaking Exhibition, Co-curator Sculpture/Ceramics Gallery, Philadelphia, PA 2 x 2 The University of the Arts, Philadelphia, PA 2005 Delicates InkLike Gallery, Philadelphia, PA Turning Pages II Wardman Library of Whittier College, Whittier, CA String Theory The University of the Arts, Philadelphia, PA Meet the Print, An Event Honoring Robert F.
